A FAMILY JOURNEY FROM FATHER TO SON SINCE 1790
There are not that many Family estates with such a long history. Located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, in Saint Félix de Foncaude, Gironde, Château de l’Orangerie belongs to Famille ICARD since 1790.
Jean-Christophe ICARD took charge of the Estate’s expansion, which now covers 250 hectares of vines in the Bordeaux, Loupiac and Entre-Deux-Mers appellations.
Since 2020, Mathias ICARD has joined the Family : Father & Son are in perfect harmony, in agreement on the major orientations they determine together, mainly in terms of the environment. Certified HVE3, Famille ICARDhas been committed to sustainable viticulture for over 15 years, with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification for Bordeaux wines, and since 2022 with a strong commitment to society through a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) label.
Originality is their mantra, combining tradition and modernity, where the quality of the wines is adorned with packaging that breaks the codes of Bordeaux wines.
