Hand harvested. 5-week maceration in Steel. Malolactic fermentation. Then 2 months is French oak: 1/3 New Oak, 1/3 – 1 year old, 1/3 – 2 year old.
Tasting Notes
A muscular but refined red, with inky layers of cherry ganache, mulberry and licorice notes, offset by savory herb, graphite and black olive accents. Full but supple tannins frame the mocha, balsamic and spice elements on the sinewy finish. – GS
